Customize emails, add attachmentsList Item 2
You requested it so here it is!
You can now preview an email before it is sent and in the preview:
- Edit the email content to customize this e.gg add any personal notes or comments about the reservation.
- Attach files to the email. Browse your PC and attach any files such as documents - useful for when agents rneed their voucher attached to an invoice for example.
- customize the email subject line to make this more personal.

Multi-site managementList Item 1
For owners / operators of multiple properties Aurelian will now allow fast and easy switching between properties. Switching between properties can be done at any time, even when you're in the reservation calendar to have full control over all functions of the different properties. Each property has its own complete setup and user access is securely controlled for each property.

New options in the Help function on the top right of every menu page now allow quick access to the video library of workshops and training tutorials.

New reliability & goodbye Java
The Aurelian Service runs on your PC and keeps the user-interface synchronized with the cloud. It's a critical part of the app though it is never seen. As always, we continue to make Aurelian a stronger, better, more reliable system. The Aurelian Service has had a major re-write incorporating a number of new features both for reliability and to help you work more efficiently.
• Removal of Java. Java is used by many software products for managing data. There have been problems when Java automatically updated and the Aurelian service could not start due to changes in Java. We no longer use Java and so this issue has now gone.
• Problem after Windows updates. Sometimes Windows would not restart the Aurelian service after a Windows update. Now when you login to Aurelian it will prompt you if the service is not running and start this for you.
• Better auto-syncing of data. When occasional users had their laptop or tablet turned off for a while, the data displayed when turned back on would be out-of-date. Now if the service detects it has been more than 7 days since the last shutdown, it will automatically perform a full re-sync with the data in the cloud. This will not be visible to you and you will not be able to login until this is complete. (see next item). Fewer than 7 days will perform an incremental synchronization.
• Faster data-syncing. Performance when syncing with the cloud has improved and is now 73% faster.
• Faster start-up time and logging in time. Service starting time is 85% faster with logging in 40% faster.
• Reduced memory (RAM) use. This can achieve a 90% saving in memory use. This will benefit all PCs and especially lower spec Windows tablets.

Online reservationsList Item 1
Changes relating to on-line reservations processing were implemented in the cloud. These include :
- Occasionally credit cards wouldn't be delivered. This was due to the cardholder's name being missing which was flagged as an error when sent from the channel manager. We now record the card details and note the card holder name is not supplied.

Virtual Room supportList Item 2
Support for virtual room reservation blocks implemented to ensure the virtual blocks were broadcast to all devices. This included correctly displaying virtual blocks for reservations received on-line.
Prior to this a virtual block recorded on a device would not be synchronised to other devices.

Checked-in date correction
Opening a checked-in reservation then saving without changing any data on the reservation would cause the check- in date to be reset to the current date/time. This has now been corrected and the original checked in date/time remains unchanged.

Xero Interface Update
The Xero interface has been updated to include :
- full synchronization of Xero connection details between devices. This means when setup on one PC it will be available on others for that property.
- Enabling repeated connections to Xero to obtain the connection keys if they aren't present. Previously this could only happen once.
