In October STAAH released an update that enabled us to confirm a reservation has been received.  If a reservation is not downloaded correctly Aurelian will signal this to STAAH and the download process is repeated to ensure correct delivery of all on-line bookings.  This was implemented in the cloud late October for STAAH, and has been available with SiteMinder for some time.

A small improvement to performance has been implemented that optimises the searching for images relating to user profiles.

Released as a pre-release to customers as required.

Enhancements to the cloud processes improved delivery of on-line bookings, resulting in faster delivery from the channel manager to Aurelian.  Applies to STAAH and SiteMinder.

During early November a number of changes were made in the cloud and the Aurelian client to improve support for complex virtual rooms to ensure virtual blocks were correctly re-calculated each time a new reservation was received or a change was made to a reservation.

A fix was made to ensure document templates could be copied correctly, and an update made available to support some Windows 7 sites that could not fully edit the documents.

Released as a pre-release to Windows 7 sites as required.

PCI regulations stipulate credit card details are only to be stored long enough for the business purposes and must be automatically removed from any data storage.  To comply with this, Aurelian provides in System Settings the number of days to retain a credit card, and once this time is expired, the card is removed from the cloud.

Enhancements have been made to this process:

• when a card is removed from the cloud the credit card information in Aurelian displays "DELETED VIA TTL - (date time)".  Previously it would appear as though the card was still held, but when the details were dispalyed the details were blank.
• the expiry date (TTL) is now calculated on the last departure date for a guest plus the retention period.  Previously this was calculated from the date the card was recorded.
• While the new method of calculating the expiry date is now implemented, existing cards will not be updated unless the reservation or guest has been updated, so some older cards may be removed  using the old method of calculating the dates.
