Credit card processing with Aurelian and Stripe.List Item 2
In a major update we have implemented full integration with the Stripe payment gateway, enabling you to quickly validate and pre-authorise cards, take payments, and process credits directly from Aurelian.
Once setup, simply click on the Payment button on an invoice and the payment or pre-authorisation is processed.
You can:
- process credit/debit cards directly from Aurelian
- pre-authorise cards to place a hold on the funds
- capture pre-authorised funds
- process credits
Stripe is very popular because it's quick and easy to sign up (no forms or bank auhorisations), supports a wide range of cards and payment methods and easy-to-use. Read more at www.stripe.com/nz or www.stripe.com.

Credit card management
Aurelian now provides new credit/debit card checking, automatic card issuer recognition (VISA, Mastercard etc), and auto-formatting of the card number to make reading this easier.

New Report: Invoice List by Agent
In response to requests from our users, we've produced a report to list reservations/invoices by agents. This year has seen concerns about agents and a property's exposure to agents resulting in a need to better track both outstanding invoices and future bookings.
This report lets you to include outstanding invoices only and/or future bookings and their value.

Agent now included in the Reservation List
A number of properties requested the agent be included in the Reservation List to enable filtering and sorting reservations by agent. This has been added and is between the Group name and the Reservation Type.

New company notes / comments
A new feature has been added to Companies. You can now add notes or comments for a company and this appears on the main panel when you open a company.

New Group comments / notes
We've added a new comments area in the Group Details window, allowing you to store notes specific to that group.

Document templates now include booking site source for reservations
Document templates can now include the on-line booking site in documents, such as confirmations etc.
To edit templates select Mailings> Insert Merge Fields>Reservation> Reservation Details and select Booking Site.
When a document is produced, the on-line booking site is placed in this position in the document.

Confirm check-in prompt removed
To make checking in more efficient, the prompt requiring confirmation that the reservation is to be checked in has been removed. This was unncessary because if checking in was done in error, the reservation can easily be reverted from checked in to confirmed.

Tax exclusive options in transaction reports
Transaction Audit, Transaction Details, and Transaction Summary by Room reports now have an option to use tax inclusive or tax exclusive values. Simply click the Tax Exclusive check box at the top of the report when previewing and it will immediately switch all values.

Booking site and voucher in Today page
On-line booking websites and vouchers are now displayed on the Today page in Reservation Details on the left. This makes it easier to view these without having to open the reservation.

Front Desk dashboard - staying over
The dashboard on the Front Desk page would incorrectly include any cancelled reservations in the Staying Over chart. This has been corrected and now displays this correctly.

Restart after Windows update
A small number of customers have experienced problems logging in to Aurelian after a Windows update. To address this, Aurelian will fully restart the app and local service after a Windows update.

Correction to 17th Update
The following issues were reported from the update of 17th:
- credit cards that had blank spaces in the card numbers would not display the full card number. This has been fixed and cards will have the spaces removed from the numbers. Please note, if the card type is not displayed on the reservation, click Update to open the card details, and click Save.
- Housekeeping reports were missing housekeeping transactions in the Requests column. This has now been fixed.
