Many properties use the Extended Fields feature of Aurelian to customise the data they collect on reservations and guests. These prove to be invaluable to gathering additional information. These could be health/allergy information, alerts, statistical regions, reasons for travel, vaccination status or anything you choose.

Now we have released the Reservation Analysis Custom Fields report which analyses reservations by Extended (Customized) Fields. So, for example, if you record Reason for travel, you can now analyse your reservations summarised by that customized field.

For an Extended Field to appear in this report, it must have a Report ID which can be any number from 1 to 9.  This ID must be unique within each Target group (Guest, Reservation, Room).  This is setup in Extended Fields in the Setup page.

Locate this report in Back Office > Property Analysis Reports.

A new report has been designed in conjunction with Fresh Info for submission to the Accommodation Data Programme.  This report can be used by any property to analyse guest nights and nights occupied versus available nights.  Please note : this is based on Arrival dates and will include all nights in a reservation. 

This report has been approved for use by Fresh Info who runs the Accommodation Data Programme in New Zealand.  

Locate this report in Back Office > Property Analysis Reports.

Two changes have been made to the Reservation Analysis report:

1. You can now suppress the charts by selecting None in the Chart type selection
2. The default chart type is now set to pie charts as these provide excellent views of the data represented by percentages.  You can still select the bar chart from the Chart type selection.
